I am a long-time resident (over 20 years) of Ithaca, and I represent the City’s Second Ward on Common Council. My wife and I have lived in the Second Ward for the past 9 years. Our mischievous but noble dog joined our family 5 years ago.

For 10 years, I served as an active board member of the Ithaca Urban Renewal Agency, serving as the co-chair of the Economic Development Committee for the past 8 years. I was a co-founder of the
Latino Civic Association of Tompkins County, a New York State Assembly recognized 501(c)(3) community service organization, and the
Alliance for Community Empowerment, a new community development organization focused on supporting entrepreneurship and social enterprise. Ever since I moved into the neighborhood, I have been active in the Henry St. John Civic Association. I also have 16 years of professional management experience at Cornell University.
